Corrections Policy

Public programmes change quickly. We provide a structured way to report factual errors, outdated information and broken official links.

Last updated: 23 September 2026

What you can report

You can report an incorrect or outdated application status, eligibility rule, deadline, amount, document requirement, department name, official link, translation, jurisdiction or other factual issue on a PakRelief scheme page.

How to submit a correction

Use the correction form on the relevant scheme page where available. Include a clear description of the issue and, if possible, a direct official evidence URL. A reply email is optional for correction reports.

What happens next

  1. We identify the affected claim and source currently supporting it.
  2. We review the evidence you provided and, where appropriate, the current official source.
  3. If the record is wrong or outdated, we update the relevant field and verification information.
  4. If evidence is inconclusive or conflicting, the record may be marked unconfirmed, conflicting or under review rather than changed to an unsupported claim.

Material corrections

For a significant error that could affect a user's decision, we may add explanatory context or otherwise make the correction clear on the page. Minor spelling, formatting or link-format fixes may be corrected without a separate public note.

What not to send

Do not send CNIC images or numbers, OTPs, passwords, bank credentials, medical records or other unnecessary sensitive information as evidence. A link to the relevant official public source is usually preferable.

No guaranteed outcome

A correction submission does not guarantee that the requested change will be made. We may decline a change when the proposed information is unsupported, belongs to a different scheme cycle, conflicts with stronger official evidence or cannot be verified.
